Dining table benches: phase 2

Phase two of the bench construction for my client near Rock in Cornwall. Read about phase 1 here.

Timber selected ready for machining for these benches…

Wood cut to size

Components cut to size and glue up of the frames begin…

Wooden components being clamped

I have used record clamps in the past which are okay on a basic level for clamping but now i am fortunate enough to have a selection of Bessey clamps in a range of sizes – OMG are they different, the clamping force is so great they are so the joiners choice for a wide range of glue ups

They will clamp on a parralel across the 95mm clamping face and are incredibly useful to every task in the workshop, combine them with the tilting clamp heads used in this project and they lend themselves to angled work like i have used them for here

I have never used such incredible clamps and now that i have there is no turning back

WELL DONE BESSEY
